Permanently installed marine magnetic steering compass, independent of any power source, properly compensatedwith a deviation table
At the start, yachts with combustion engines must carry enough fuel to meet the charging requirements for the durationof the race and to sail at the aforementioned minimum speed for at least 5 hours
Marine radio with a spare antenna if the main antenna is mounted on the mast
Handheld marine VHF transceiver, waterproof or with a waterproof cover. When not in use, it should be stored in a grab bag
AIS transponder (transmitter) with programmed MMSI - recommended for crewed yachts / mandatory for Double Handed.

2x 2 kg fire extinguisher
EPIRB or PLB radio beacon - recommended for crewed yachts. Mandatory for Double Handed
Two unmodified anchors that meet the manufacturer’s recommendations based on the boat’s dimensions, with an appropriate combination of chain and rope, ready for immediate assembly and use within 5 minutes, except the yacht with a length LH less than 8.5 m should have 1 anchor

A strong, sharp knife in a sheath and securely mounted should be easily accessible from the deck or cockpit.
Trisail or reefing of the mainsail with a reduction of the luff by at least 40% (or rotating wing mast if possible).
